If Western leaders can utter “Hamas” and “Netanyahu” with equal disgust, what does that say about our shifting moral compass? Today’s Rant Network podcast dives deep into the strange evolution of political discussions and issues, where defending oneself is now more scrutinized than starting the conflict. We trace how the media and political elite quietly decided to condemn those fighting for survival, like in Israel and Iran, not those who initiated violence, and ask: who and what are we truly cheering for?

Welcome Back And A Sharper Tone

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. All right.

SPEAKER_01

David, you're back. You're back. We're both. Who are you? I missed you on Wednesday, dude. You know, it's good to see you back.

SPEAKER_02

You know, I missed you on Friday. I mean, they had to put up with me just ranting by myself.

SPEAKER_00

God help us all.

SPEAKER_02

You know, uh, you know, as we as we sort of take a more serious tone over the last several weeks and uh trying to push uh more civility than uh than we used to doing, I guess. I guess we've matured in the what 700 to a thousand broadcasts we've posted.

SPEAKER_00

Put it this way. I don't think maturity is a word that people like to relate with us, but let's move on, please. God help us.

SPEAKER_02

Let me ask you something. When's the last time you heard a Western leader say the word Hamas with the same disgust in their voice as they say netanyahu?

SPEAKER_00

Hmm. That would be take your time. Take your time. I'll wait. I'll wait. Where are your crickets, bud?

SPEAKER_02

All right.

SPEAKER_00

There we go.

Iran’s Direct Missile Attacks Timeline

The ICC Focus And Missing Warrants

Media Language And Hostage Narrative

SPEAKER_02

Because, you know, I've been paying attention closely, and here's what I can tell you. It's that somewhere in the last eight months, a significant portion of political and media class of the Western world made a decision. Not out loud, not any document you can subpoena, but a decision all the same, or none the same. That's the most scrutinized, the most condemned, the most relentlessly second-guessed military actor on the planet would be one fighting for its survival. Not the one that started it, the one that's defending itself and fighting back. I want you to know what we got here. I want to trace the timeline because it didn't happen by accident. Right? Let's start with the date. The date is April 13th, 2024. Burn it into your memory if it already hasn't. Iran is not a proxy, not a cutout, not some militia with plausible deniability stamped on its forehead. Iran itself launched over 300 domes and ballistic missiles directly at Israel. Yep. The largest direct state-on-state missile attack in modern history, not just of this region, but modern history. Not a border skirmish, not a symbolic provocation, 300 projectiles aimed at a country the size of New Jersey, in hopes that enough of the world would get through. Israel, with the help of the United States, Jordan, and other regional partners intercepted 99% of them. The response from European leadership, Pedro Sanchez of Spain, called it for restraint, called for restraint. From Israel, the country that just absorbed 300 missile barrage. Restraint this prick. As thought as the moral ledger needed rebalancing in Israel's direction. Not Israel overreaction or not. I don't know. The ballistic missiles that Iran just fired into a sovereign nation. Just think about that. Let's now go forward five months. That's October 7th, 2024. Iran does it again. A barrage, more interceptions, more debris across Israeli territory. The European response with a equivalent of a moracle shrug and a blaze. That's 2024, not October 7th. Now stay with me because within weeks of those missiles, Sance has found the moral clarity. Spain, Norway, Ireland moved to formally recognize Palestinian statehood in May 2024. Time with a surgical deliverance to a land in the middle of an active Israeli military campaign. And look, states made foreign policy. Fine. But there was no debate. The man who couldn't find his voice when Iran was raising missiles on Tel Aviv. It immediately, when the statement was made squarely on just Israel, the missiles got silence. Israel defending against the missiles got all the retaliatory vocal action and condemnation from the likes of every single government. And let's not forget the invertebrate of the United Nations. That is not foreign policy. That is a targeting system with only one single target, the Jewish people. Now let's go to The Hague, because International Criminal Court has been very busy. Not with what you people would expect, right? You know, there's lots of bad shit going on in the world. You know, you have the Uyghurs, yeah, you have the Africans, yeah, you have, you know, the uh Odessa's, you know, the Russian invasion, you have North Korea, right? No, what the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Galan for war crimes, crimes against humanity. The court spent two years finding its paperwork before it could formally go after Vladimir Putin, while Russian tanks literally roll through Kiev over women and children and civilians. That court moved with urgency when it came to the leader of Democratic Alley. I want to be precise because I always try to be precise, and David constantly has to correct me. And it's to it's to my benefit and your benefit, but he's been very silent, which is quite amazing. War crime allegations should be investigated by international law, and it's not optional. And I believe I believe this completely. But so let me ask you, where is the completeness on what belief? Where is the ICC arrest warrant for Ali uh Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, who's now a dead man? Where the man funded Hezbollah for a 30-year campaign of terror across the region, who bankrolled Hamas through decades of planning and preparation, whose regime was assassinated, dissidents in on European soil and tried on American soil, and who authorized a direct ballistic missile attack on sovereign nation in under 12 months. Where is the warrant? Where is the warrant for anyone in that country? Where is the warrant for Hamas commanders who planned October 7th, most of which are now dead, who sat in rooms and drew up operational plans with systematic murder, rape, kidnapping over thousands of civilians in a single morning. That's October 7th. Some of those commanders are still breathing, hopefully not for long. Some of them have been living in Qatar. Yes, Qatar, the country that the world is going to to be a peacemaker. Yet they host savages. And yes, the United States has a very good diplomatic table with them. While negotiating over hostages release, dragged on for bleeding months. The ICC found Netanyahu before it found the men who ordered the Nova Music Festival Massacre. Read that sentence again. The ICC found Benjamin Netanyahu before it found a single person from Nova Music Massacre and still has not. Read that sentence and let it settle in. That tells you everything about the real business on how we hold people accountable. Now, I I can keep going, and I don't think it's fair, but I just want to give you a little bit more taste. The Biden administration spent its final years running arguments with itself over Israel, pausing weapons shipments, threatening conditionally or military aid, dispatching envoys to lecture the Israeli government about proportionality while Hamas still held 251 hostages, of which some are still not home, and their bodies still not returned. Many people have taken off their little necklaces. I don't see David wearing it today.

SPEAKER_01

Stuart, everybody's home. Stuart, everybody's home. All the bodies have been returned. All the bodies have been returned. Here's where I'm going to correct you.

SPEAKER_02

But if they for 500 days, some American citizens were even held. The progressive wing of the Democratic Party, the loudest voice, the ones who showed up for every rally and signed every letter, spent every passing piece of energy trying to pressure Israel to stop fighting and pressure them to release Hamas hostages.

SPEAKER_01

The people of an American past. Please, let's correct the word. I'm going to correct you then. They weren't Hamas hostages. The pressure wasn't was on pressuring on Israel to release Hamas terrorists from jails. Sorry. Don't call them hostages. Yeah, well, you know what the fucking world can go to hell calling what those bastards who blew up Israel, Israelis, as this is where I'm cutting you off. Every Israeli tie Jews, Christian, it's disgusting.

SPEAKER_02

No, but but but if you would have let me finish my sentence, I don't want to. It was that was as it was reported in the press.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's the offensive part.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, okay. So so where I was trying to draw reference was the Western media continued the abuse from October 7th by declaratorying the Israeli kept terrorists as civilian hostages. And the inverting of Israel's tactical very much so in a light that the Americans have never even kept. They have bombed indiscriminately cities where the Israelis have targeted their attack. Is there going to be another October 7th? Well, that that remains to be seen one way or the other. But genuinely, if we rely on Spain, France, Germany, this seems to be the truth.

Victims Versus Winners In Politics

Holy Sites Under Fire And Blame

SPEAKER_01

David, take care of look, uh you know what? I heard something over the weekend, and I thought that was actually apropos, and it reminded me of what is going on is why are they hating us so much? Like, why do the Macrons and the Pablo Sanchez and the Democratic Party hate the Israel so bloody much? It's because they can't stand winners. They can't stand when people win. They need losers under their tent, they need victims under their tent. They so they call themselves that big tent that's open to everybody. So as long as you play victim, you're in. But if you play victor, if you play strong person, if you show up a sign of strength, you're out. And that's what the left hates, hates winners. And Jews, traditionally, most Jews, um, just a little side note that in Canada, the Socialist Party here in Canada elected a Jew hater, a Jew himself, uh, whose parent father and grandfather were part of the NDP party, he became the leader of the NDP party and their Palestinian flags waving. He's called Israel a genocidal state. But Stuart, in order to continue to create this, this, this, this, this anti-Semitism, which they're they're saying no, it's not, it's really anti-Zionism and it's against you know, whatever, it's a load of shit. But in order for them to do this, to keep the the this the story going, they need to find more. And what happened with the war with Iran is that it was it exposed the absolute fallacies right now of the left of the Democratic Party, of leaders like Pablo Sanchez and Imam Macomb. Because here's the thing, guys, and even the fucking Pope. We spoke about this a lot not that long ago, but but but since the war began, Iran has been firing rockets indiscriminately at Israel, they don't care where it's aiming, including Jerusalem. Now, you want to explain to me the holiest site for three religions, including the Alaksa Mosque, or what we call the Dome of the Rock, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Christians from around the world go to pray. And of course, the Western Wall, the holy one of the holiest sites for the Temple Mount for Jews. Iran is ready to bomb Jerusalem, the old city, the city that was supposedly, supposedly to be negotiated with the Palestinians for capital. All of that. It's okay, but not a word, not a word of condemnation. Not from the UN, not from Macron, not from anybody, not from Pablo Sargez, nobody. But here's the funny part. During Ramadan, which by the way, the left accused Donald Trump of attacking Iran purposely on Ramadan because Trump hates Muslims. I mean, look, this is this is just this is just the messaging that you're getting that makes zero sense, right? Because he sat on the calendar and he went, Oh, when's Ramadan? And I'm gonna go attack on Ramadan. I mean, like, that's a hole of shit. But during Ramadan, as pieces of debris fell from the sky, the holy sites had to be closed down because it was dangerous to their lives. And in fact, pieces did fall near the old city. So instead, while they closed the access to the Dome of the Rock, Muslims prayed in the street. It is Ramadan. Okay, I got it. But Jewish the Israeli police dispersed them because of their lives, they're saving their lives. But the news reported Israel denies Muslims the ability to pray on Ramadan. That is the message. This is the way to keep the winners down. Hold on. You ran it for nine minutes. Shut up. Now, sorry. My thing is this here we are now coming up to Good Friday Easter. This is one of the holiest, holiest days in Christianity. And while pieces fell from the sky on old Jerusalem, and we've seen the video, the Pope, Macron, Sanchez, everyone on the left, dead silent. Not one fucking condemnation of Iran to say, hey, what are you doing? What are you doing? Instead, what's about to be coming out is that the Israel is denying Christians the ability to walk down the Via de la Rosa and to deny them the ability to pray during the Easter. This is going to be this case this week. Why? Because it doesn't make a difference. Now, here's the stupid thing, Stuart. They're accusing Israel of not guaranteeing the safety of Muslims and Christians. And this is now the new twist, right? You see, you're in apartheid state. You don't care for Muslims. You know, meanwhile, everyone, everyone on Israel's territory has access to the bomb shelters that Israel has built for every citizen, regardless. I'll say that again. Israel has built bomb shelters for every citizen, regardless of where you're from, where you are, or whatever. There are sirens, they let everyone in. They don't ask for your ID. The Democrats should love that part. They don't ask for your ID when you get there and you get to be safe. But instead, these same people who criticize Israel, the Democrats, Pablo Sanchez, Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, and the list goes on and on and on, cannot protect the Jewish citizens of their own country, including in mine. And that's disgusting. It's easy to accuse, as you'd like to say, Stuart, everyone was pointing the fingers at Israel because the winning side, the team that didn't lay low and down and lose, because the best way to get rid of anti-Semitism, Stuart, is to lose. That's the way to get rid of it. Israel refuses to lose, Jews refuse to lose. But these losers want Israel to lose. That would make them feel so good. And that would make their tent filled with happiness.

Elections And Demanding Real Protection

SPEAKER_02

David, let's let's be clear. The silence is the argument, and it's always been the argument. And I'll ask you one more time because the question should not be rhetorical, it should be haunting. Where is the outrage? Not the managed kind, not the press release kind, not the arrives after careful political meanderers, you know, have calculated statements. Where is the true outrage?

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_02

The real kind. You're not gonna get it. The kind where everywhere on every front page with every speech, with every candlelight vigil. If the targets were anyone else, where would it be?

SPEAKER_01

Front row center on a Soros backed. Actually, no, the Iranians don't get it. You know, it's only a select few Stuart that get George Soros' backing. That I have to tell you. Well it seems like he does. But David, you know what that means? Stuart, I'm gonna put it in with one last little piece to everybody. The irony of this whole thing is that the people that you've elected, the people that you've put in power to protect you, won't. That's what you've got to realize. That while we're going into a midterm of the United States, and you see that the idea is that you know, the people who scream we shouldn't fight racism are the biggest racists of all. The people who scream for peace are the ones who would rather you die and get hurt. Stuart ranted about this on Friday when it comes up to open borders and the immigration policy. These people that you voted in are not there to protect you. Just remember that as you go to the ballot box in the upcoming elections. We have a by-election here in Canada in a couple of weeks, midterms are coming up in less than six months. Keep that in mind. People who've been trying to protect you are the ones that are being vilified by the left for magic for security of their citizens. And if they're you're uh if you're voting for a party that's unwilling to protect all of its citizens that they swear to do, shame on you.

SPEAKER_02

You know what that means? That's it. We'll be back on the phone. Friday, Wednesday, Wednesday, one then, Wednesday, whatever, Wednesday, whatever, whatever. I know that's all right, everybody. Thank you very much for joining in every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, noon, Eastern. Dave us, like us, hate us, PM us. We'll respond eventually. Thanks for tuning in.
