If truth is negotiable, then journalism becomes nothing more than propaganda. The New York Times this week prooved that they could are a propoganda outlet for terrorists by publishing a fictional article claiming to be an opinion piece on their front page. This episode of The Rant Network pulls no punches—challenging how major media outlets shape narratives, question facts only when convenient, and amplify claims without scrutiny when it serves the storyline. We confront uncomfortable questions about bias, selective outrage, and the role of media in fueling division rather than informing the public. In a time where information is weaponized, the real debate is no longer left vs. right—it’s truth vs. narrative.

Accountability And Media Double Standards

SPEAKER_00

If you were to screw up in your job, if you would have done something egregious, something filled with lies, what would happen to you? You'd probably get fired. In some cases, you may even get sued in the United States. But apparently, not if you work in media, not if you work for the New York Times. See, there, you can do whatever you want. You can create your own journalism. You can create your own stories. Whether it's the editors driving it or the news or the article or the journalists driving it, it doesn't matter. Apparently, journalism, facts, doesn't matter. Opinion faces, ow. That's the way we'll get the message across to people and how we will discredit the truth. Since October the 7th, 2023, since that infamous invasion by Hamas into Israel to kill 1200 people, the allegations on Israel has not stopped. Assuming that, of course, that Israel is always guilty, that is how the world has played this. That Israel has either it didn't ever happen, there's been denial of any of the sexual assaults happening, there have been denials that this was a Hamas attack, and so on and so on and so forth. So when originally allegations of sexual assault were made, the media, the United Nations and others were quick to say, no, show us proof. But when Hamas on the other side said something happened by Israel, it was immediately published. Starting, if you recall, with the 500 dead in a hospital in Gaza, a missile fired by Israel. Allegations, politicians, journalists, you name it, jumped on board and said, Israel is complicit and guilty. Until they found out that it wasn't Israel who fired the rocket. It did not hit the hospital, and there were no 500 dead. And yet there will be people who will be putting comments in our feeds, and people will be putting comments everywhere to say it's not true. It's a lie, another Zionist lie. That has been the mantra since October the 7th. The opportunity to use anti-Semitism as a weapon against Jews in the state of Israel. Why am I bringing this up?

October 7 Claims And Denials

SPEAKER_00

Because this week a report came out, a very graphic report, about the 2023 attack. This group did its homework. They reviewed 10,000 plus photographs and videos. They conducted 430 formal interviews with survivors, witnesses, and former hostages. They visited the massacre sites. They met with families. The story that they identified 13 different types of sexual violence committed during the attack included, and I'm reading this, rape and gang rape, sexual torture and mutilation, executions linked to sexual violence, post-mortem sexual abuse, sexual assault in front of family members, forced assault act between family members, and so on and so forth. In one testimony, and this was really hard to hear, this was the quote by one of the witnesses. Quote The woman's body was completely naked in parts of the body in the intimate areas, nails were embedded. In the vaginal area, there was embedded some kind of plastic or metal or something that was inside her. Parts of the body itself were also mutilated. This is not what the Nazis did. This is not what you would go back in. You can go back in history and say, yeah, attacking countries may have raped and pillaged, and you hear that again and again. But for the first time, we have this type of testimony. We have this type of evidence. And knowing that this was coming out earlier this week, media houses were approached with this evidence. The BBC, CBC in Canada, other outlets around the world, some who were very, very, very, very against Israel published this. Not necessarily front and center, but it was published. You can go on their websites, you could see it. Did it make news and noise? Did it change politicians? Did it lead to UN resolutions? Did it do any of this stuff? The answer is no. Because it is against Jews in Israel. Women's groups stayed quiet. UN women groups stayed very quiet. And I'm saying women because it's usually this is where the noise will come from. This is where the groundswell will come from. But apparently, whether it's Jewish women being raped or little children being raped in Africa, apparently it doesn't really jive with many of these groups as long as we can attack Jews and as long as we can discredit Israel. That seems to be the only way it works. Now, again, why am I bringing this up based on my opening? It's really simple. The

A Graphic Report On Sexual Violence

SPEAKER_00

New York Times was approached with this story. And yes, they eventually did publish something to this effect. But the New York Times had to go one step further. Because the New York Times has taken incredible shots at Israel. You know, relying on Al Jazeera as your source for information is like asking the inmates in a jail to report on the guards. That's all. That's what Al Jazeera has been doing. And you could say, but they're a media house, David. Come on, they're a media house. Yeah, sure. State sponsored by Qatar. That's right. Qatar has been paying for Al Jazeera. Just like the North Korean government pays for theirs, just like Putin pays for his, just like Iran pays for theirs, Qatar has been paying for Al Jazeera. This is not a free media house, people. This is not a private entity. And they're growing globally to spread this hate, to spread this message. And outlets like the BBC, CBC, and New York Times and others used Al Jazeera as a source. See, the way they got around it is because at the beginning of this whole thing, they kept saying the Hamas Ministry of Health, or I should say, sorry, the Gaza Ministry of Health, run by Hamas. Eventually, as you know in previous rants, we got rid of those words. And eventually, whatever numbers were fabricated, but Hamas Al Jazeera reported it, that was reported eventually by all the other media outlets. No sourcing, no fact-checking. So why should we be surprised today when earlier this week the New York Times did exactly what they're known to do? Just come up with stories, unverified facts, just to prove airpoint. As I said, media has been trying very, very hard to keep the positioning that they've been talking about. The oppressed versus the oppressor. The Palestinians are the oppressed, Israel's the oppressor. And Jews around the world apparently are guilty of being part of Israel. Even if you don't believe in the state, even if you don't believe in, you know, you don't you're you're in a different country. It's amazing. It is amazing how you need they needed to find stories, ideas, anything to discredit Israel. And how about this? When the New York Times was approached with this report, rather than run it and just show that this is the truth, that facts do emerge, and that there is a real story behind it, and it is horrific to the greatest. I mean, when you read these testimonies, you're asking yourself this question how could you bring yourself to do something so disgusting? How can we as a society sit back and say, yeah, that's what we want? How is we as a society looking at these this kind of this this kind of thought? If this is what you call resistance, if this is the intifada you want to bring to North America and to the West, are you really sure this is what you want? Men, women, listen carefully.

How Unsourced Stories Go Viral

SPEAKER_00

This is what Hamas proudly did. They had them on GoPros. There are phone calls to families to talk about how sick, how what they did. And yet I know there are people who will say it never happened, it was an Israeli or Zionist fabrication. I know all this stuff. I heard it, right? Because we have to discredit Israel. That is all what you see with people. Anti-Semitism at its best. But for the New York Times, a somewhat well-reputed media house, had to go one further.

The New York Times Opinion Flashpoint

SPEAKER_00

Nicholas Christoph wrote an opinion ped, that opinion piece, sorry, that went on to the front page of the New York Times, talking about Israel's sexual assault of the Palestinians. Unverified, unvetted, unchecked. It was an opinion piece. When asked for sources, we're still waiting. When asked for witnesses, no comment. New York Times ran this piece on the front page, knowing that this was coming out, knowing that this report was going to come out and discredit what the New York Times has been trying to push forever. That Hamas wasn't guilty of all of these crimes. You know what makes me sick is that it went so far as to suggest that Israel trained dogs to rape Palestinians. Let me say that again. Nicholas Christoph, in his piece, alleged without any sources, without any verifiable, you know, facts, that Israel trained dogs to rape Palestinians. You have to have a really sick mind to come up with this kind of allegation. You have to really have a sick editorial team to say, yeah, this is fit to print. You have to be a sick organization to want to go so far as to not offer the truth. October 7, 2023 destroyed the lives of not just 1,200 families or people who died, but thousands of families. Tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of people were displaced on October the 7th. A war ensued. And yes, I understand that people are still going to cry, crocodile tears for the Palestinians and say, poor them, and look at them, and they're the victims of war and whatever. And no matter what lengths Israel went to to try to get rid of these terrorists who committed these crimes, it's dead silence. Now, if you think Hamas would just do that to Israelis, don't you think that they would be doing that to their own people? Of course they do. Women have no rights in the territories there. Women, I'll say this again: women have no rights. They're not first-class citizens like men. Men can rape and beat their wives, no harm. Women cannot do that to a man. Members of the LGBTQ community will be thrown out of a window. And I know all these organizations still believe that Palestinians are victims. It is true. They're victims of Hamas. Hamas went in there with their power, with their strength, with money backed from Iran, with weapons and building tunnels. And instead of feeding people, they ruined their lives. And they brainwashed the people there to believe that the fault is the Jew, the Zionist. And October 7th, yeah, that was the volcano that erupted, so to speak. The opportunity to have a rapprochement with Israel was never in the cards. The destruction of Israel was. The spread of hate around the world was. The campus riots were. The ideology to spread intifada globally was. It's been all part of this plan. And the New York Times and all other media outlets that have been complicit in spreading the propaganda for Hamas are guilty. They're guilty of not doing their job. They're guilty of opinion piecing. And instead of saying that the entire New York Times is really one big opinion piece, they decided that no, no, no, no, no, no, no. In order to us to discredit the report, let's put out our own version. If that is journalism, you should be fired. The editorial team in the entire New York Times should be fired, dismissed for such heinous lies. If you're willing to go that far, then what else are you willing to do? Donald Trump sued the BBC because of those kind of games, editing videos, just to show that what he did on January the 6th, he called for an uprising. Again, this isn't journalism. This is hate. You are trying to convince people by lying to them. Because when the facts come out that Israel or the United States does something good, you can't take yourself to go there. Even outlets like the BBC and CBC reported it. And even they questioned it. But at least it got out there. The truth is out there. But unfortunately, this outlet like the New York Times couldn't handle the truth. I know it sounds like movie cliches, right? We can't handle the truth, or the New York Times won't handle the truth. The message, folks, today is simple.

Trust, Protests, And Canceling Support

SPEAKER_00

There were protests in front of the New York Times demanding not only a retraction, but an outright apology for Nicholas Christoph's slanderous piece that members of the New York Times should lose their jobs for this kind of slop. This is not what we need in today's world. I get it. I was in the newspaper business for 14 years. I get it. I hate to say it, smiles don't sell, but blood does. I get it. But even when there is blood, there are facts. The story has a fact behind it. And yes, there may be two sides, and you report both sides equitably. But the New York Times, BBC, CBC, and many, many, many other outlets around the world decided there was only one side. And they were all going to report it, no matter how true it was. But this week took it to a whole new level. People reading it saying Israel, you know, trained dogs to rape Palestinians. You gotta ask yourself, is this the kind of media you wish to support, let alone trust, for your news? I don't have a New York Times subscription. But if I did, not only would I cancel it, I would be running around telling my friends to cancel it themselves. The New York Times does not deserve to exist if this is the journalist journalistic integrity that they have, nor any other of the outlets. The BBC has been called out on numerous times of their slander. Governments have told them to you can't be, you have to be more equitable. Same thing happened in the FCC in the United States. Same other, you cannot just lie. Folks, as we go into the weekend, ask yourself do we really need more of this? Do we is had Jews not suffered enough? Has Israel not been discredited enough by media? Or is the day that Israel falls apart, disappears, is that the day they'll be happy and stop? Because that ain't happening. The terrorists know it. Iran knows it. They're gonna keep fighting to get it. But for media to do the bidding of Iran, Hamas, Khezbollah, the Houthis, when media sides with terrorists, is this the media we want to come into our home and to help educate us and our children or inform us and our children? God, I hope not. That's it for another week of the Rant Network, ladies and gentlemen. Have yourself a great weekend. Look forward to catching you on the other end. Take care, everyone.
