Let’s stop pretending—showing up late with a polished speech isn’t leadership, it’s political theater. This episode of The Rant Network tears into the pattern too many people ignore: when leaders, like Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney, disappear after numerous antisemtic incidents across Canada and reappear once the cameras are ready. Moreover, instead of taking action that will lead to change, he appears in a Liberal-loving synagogue to announce the formation of another committee that he put antisemites to run. He got the ovation and support he expected to get and once again, left the Jewish community to struggle on their own. His true colors shined in Toronto. So why do Jews in Canada and the United States still support antisemtic parties and their leaders?

my little favorite gnome that I like to pick on in world politics. And the gnome's name is Mark Carney. Yep. Why am I calling him a gnome? Because a little troll. Nothing else to say. Trolls a troll is a troll, right? Is that correct, David? Call it troll a troll, I call it troll a troll. He walked into a synagogue or a temple called Holy Blossom, one of the most storied Jewish congregations in that part of Canada. Two months or so after anti-Semitic attacks rocked Toronto and decided to give a speech. A speech of warmth, full solidarity, full of promises and accolades that never actually happened. And a crowd, a crowd, God bless them. They applauded. And the right, the entire problem. Let me say it again. They gave them applause. Stood up almost, clapped their hands. Let's be precise about what happened here. Toronto's Jewish community was targeted, attacked in a wave of anti-Semitic violence that sent shockwaves through an entire country and around the world, where Mark Carney and his incomplete staff were not in days or weeks that followed, disappeared for months. Where the Prime Minister of Canada, when Jewish Canadians were afraid to walk down the street wearing a high, a star of David, or even having a schnazz like me and David, he was completely and utterly absent. And two months later, he decides to show up. Holy Blossom Temple of all places, polishes his cufflings, steps up to a microphone, and tells Jewish mothers and fathers and children and grandmothers and grandparents and whatever what other Holocaust people are left. And what did he finally arrive? What what's the usual Canada stands against anti-Semitism? We will not tolerate hate. The Jewish community is vital of the fabric of this nation. Beautiful sentence, completely empty sentence. What kind of sentence is a political consultant writes at 11 p.m. the night before a speech and gives it to his polling, finally enough, to show up to give something worth optics.

Platitudes Without Policy Or Teeth

Here's what Carney didn't say. He did not name a single policy his government has enacted, or will enact, or will move to try and enact, to prosecute anti-Semitic violence more aggressively. He didn't address why his liberal party has for a decade plus tolerated members of parliament who unequivocably are on Hamas, soft peddling, Palestinian terror, absentee, voted against pro-Israel measures in the United Nations. This is enough. He didn't explain why his very weak the European Union, which Canada closely aligns itself with, diplomatically announced sanctions against Israel, while Hamas still holds still holds a terror over an entire country. He just spoke and smiled, looked left, looked right, and looked straight at them. Here is a question that nobody in that room asked out loud, but every honest person should have been asking why does the left keep crashing and cashing the check? The Jewish community in North America has been one of the most reliable liberal and democrat reliability left voting communities in the Western world for generations. A Democrat party that lets Congresswomen call Israel an apartheid state. A liberal party in Canada that spent years nodding along anti-Semitism, metastasized on its university campuses and within its own chambers of political halls, a progressive movement that marched on the streets on October 8th after a massacre and found a way to make Israel a villain. And now Mark Carney, two months later, platitudes in hand, expecting an ovation. And here is the part that breaks my heart just a little because they gave it to him and they applauded. Because that's what happens when an entire community has been trained after generation after generation to see the left as its protector, even when the left shows up late, even when the left lies, even when the left owns allies are out there this week sanctioning Jewish states. You show up and say words and get applauses. Jewish voters in Canada and across the United States, David, are some of the most educated, most accomplished, most politically sophisticated people on earth. And yet, election after election, they walk into a voting booth and pull a lever. Well, that's what kind of dating myself for a party that is slowly, steadily engaging in rhetoric, elegance, selling them out to terrorists. Mark Carney didn't earn that applause at holy blossom. He doesn't deserve the benefit or the doubt. The Jewish community, uh my communities, respectfully admiration, deserve a leader to show up on the day one, not day 60, until they demand a political response from a guy like Mark Carney. Keep showing up late, little Kearney. Keep speaking beautiful and playing platitudes. The world isn't going to accept it forever. And your time is running out.

I think the world is waking up. David, the election in California, completely unrelated, is starting to prove the leadle from all the way on the left, now getting to center. Now, Carney was quick to say that he's putting together another committee because we need committees, because committees just push the ball forward and we don't have to deal with it today. And when the committee shows up, we'll get a real answer. So who does he put in that committee, Stuart? Well, former Senator Mark Gold, Senator Mark Miller. Now, Mark Gold is an LGBT advocate activist and Jewish. Mark Miller, former Senator, Jewish is a senator Jewish, but he's more of a literal than he's a Jew. But then he puts in there Katrina Lemay Done, a retired skater. Yeah, she's a Metis active advocate. So, how does this relate to anti-Semitism? But the best part is he put in Aftab Ephran, Avinash Nanda, and Omar Al-Habra. Three violent, vigilant anti-Semites. He put three he put and Omar Al-Habra has not hidden his hate for Israel. He was a former president of the Canadian Arab Federation. That was let me put it this way. He he was caught dirty handed. And guess what? He's a member of Parliament, former member of parliament. I mean, he is he's a former transport minister. Stuart, my member of parliament in my writing, and I've said this before in other in other rants, is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Committee That Signals Nothing

from about 11 plus years ago, when Prime Minister Harper stood by Israel time and time again as she was attacked by Hamas, the only Western leader at the time who stood arm in arm with Israel as she was attacked and was asked numerous times why aren't you standing with other politicians? And his answer was my father went and saw those concentration camps when he liberated them and told me what happened. And we said, Never again. He goes, I learned right from wrong, and right doesn't necessarily mean popular. And he stood by Israel now for decades, but the liberals need to court votes to do it. And with the Muslim Arab community growing exponentially in Canada, this has become the most attractive voting block. It's gonna happen in the US as well. And so curing favors from this group makes a lot of sense. So to put these anti-Semites into a group of a committee on anti-Semitism, what do you think is gonna happen? Now, Evan Solomon Stewart was a former CTV broadcaster, journalist. I'm sorry, he's now a member of parliament, and he stood there and he said, you know, I was Bermitsfoot in that synagogue. I, you know, I know, but the Canadian government, the federal government of Canada, has given money for security. We should be happy. Look, we are working with Jewish Canadians. I said Jewish Canadians. He didn't say that. He said Canadian Jews. I know, sorry, we're not Canadian Jews anymore. Because you have to be welcomed in a country, you have to be protected in your country to put your country of residence in first. That's the problem. Throwing money to problem isn't solving the problem. Not when you have effigies in downtown Montreal, not when you have uh protests and shootings happening at daycares, at seniors' residences, when there you have to bring in lawyers to put down, you know, to sue governments. Stuart, what what he did was disgusting. Now, I'm gonna give a a shout out to Batcha Angar Sargon. She's a news anchor, she just wrote a book called The Jews in the Left, and it's been published. And I've heard a few, I've seen a few clips and whatever. I think it's fascinating, Stuart, because it's been deck, it's been centuries that we have this attraction to progressivism, to wanting better for society, and that has been more left of center in theory, but in practice, Stuart, and we've talked about this in other in other rants. The racism is coming out of the left and hasn't changed. The party that has been the most racist in American history is on the left. You look today, the Liberal Party of Canada, it is violently and promoting hate and racism, but accusing the right, notice both parties accuse the other side of dividing Americans and Canadians. That's incredible. When you put anti-Semites on a committee and say that this is the way we're going to balance it out. By the way, not one conservative, not one conservative on that committee. Everybody curries favors with the liberals, and that's to show you what Bark Carney wants to do in Canada. Keep Jews locked for votes, but not to protect Jews in Canada. Yeah.

From Canada To Paris And Back

Ask me if I'm shocked, David, as I turn on, light up my terminal while you're talking about something that's more granular. It's more granular, it's more granular for you because you're there. I mean, obviously, it's you know, similar story, you know, in the United States, but but but but radically different. You know, the Republicans are in control, not the Democrats. The Republicans have openly said in Congress and in the Senate that they stand with Israel, will always stand with Israel, and which is far different cry than you get from the Democratic left squad. And you're right, you know, they they they're they know they they they populate like like like sardines. I mean, they just like in mass amounts. I mean, and and and the reality is they're leaving countries that they can't stand living in, but they don't like the lifestyle here, and it's like going home. No, no, no, no. Oh no, no, no. Don't don't don't don't confuse that. That's that's an error. They're not interested in your lifestyle. That's not even close to it, Stuart. You have a radical group, you have a radical group who's coming in here for conquest. This has got nothing to do with lifestyle. There are many who are leaving these countries to find a better life, and they are happy to be quiet and sitting on the sidelines and adapting to whether it's US or Canadian values, it doesn't make a difference. Unfortunately, Stuart, take a look at what happened in Paris over the weekend. A soccer team wins a championship and destroyed, they destroyed, they destroyed the crisp, and all you hear is al-akbar, all you hear are radical Muslims screaming, we're here to take over, we're here for conquest, we're here to take over the West. This is not verbiage, Stuart. This is a reality. And when the Canadian government has yet to condemn Hamas or Hezbollah or Iran for what it has done, not just to Israel, but to the world, you create you, you you just embolden these anti-Semites even further. I don't understand. Like, think about it, Stuart. When was the last time you heard of your ask your friend, the hockey player Semenov? When was the last time a Russian was beaten up, shot at, or a Russian Orthodox Church was shot at or tried to be firebombed because they're shooting at Ukraine? Never. It doesn't happen. So why the Jewish community in the United States and Canada? And this is where government could have could come in and slam the door on it, but instead to curry liberal the Democrats and the Liberals know where the bread is buttered, and they're not gonna say a word. The opposite platitudes and expectations and constant rhetoric that the right is wrong, and the only party for the people are the Democrats and the Liberals of Canada, and it's fascinating how the bullshit we that the left accepts. And Stuart, I want to tell you, it is really spreading in those left-leaning groups. We have a reconstructionist group uh synagogue here that has absolutely refused to march in a pro in a in an Israel celebration unless we condemn BB. Like, what does that have got to do with me? We're here to celebrate Israel. No, Israel doesn't have a right to exist under a BB. What this is what they're paying, they're banking on more of these lefty Jews going against Israel and continuing to vote for the left. We're in trouble if we don't wake up as a community. And by the way, we're talking about the Jewish community, but it's every community steward, it's not the Jewish community, just the Jewish community. Look at Paris. Is this a Jewish thing in Paris? No, not at all. That's it.
